The Workshop

We will explain the basic workflow for creating a rig either from scratch or from an existing DCC character. Users will then learn how to prepare this rig as an agent with USDSkel for efficient use in Solaris as well as the basics of animating with APEX: covering UI, constraints, and swapping out rigs while maintaining animation data. Lastly, the workshop will cover extracting our animation’s skeleton data and applying it in Solaris.
